Tommy Lee is asking the music world to shift its focus.
On Monday, Jan. 13, the Mötley Crüe musician, 62, vented on Instagram about artists promoting albums and tours amid the devastation of the Los Angeles fires.
"It really disgusts me to witness so many individuals just [continuing] to share pointless content on social media!" Lee expressed. "Seriously, at this moment, no one cares at all about your album release or upcoming show when countless people are experiencing one of the most significant crises ever!"
"I understand that a bit of humor is often necessary, but for goodness' sake, can we just pause for a moment and recognize those who might need assistance?"
Lee's band, Mötley Crüe, posted about the blaze on Facebook on Jan. 9. "To everyone affected by the devastating and unprecedented fires in our hometown of Los Angeles, our thoughts are with you during this very difficult time."
They expressed: "Wishing you and your dear ones safety as we unite to overcome challenges together."
